Hello-

I came across your site while visiting the excellent Atari 7800.com. While that site is top-notch, I regard yours as mediocre and barely amusing. I was disappointed to link from a professional, well-maintained site to yours, which was quite the opposite.

While I uphold the First Amendment regarding speech, your use of the English language is reprehensible! Your writings are FULL of erroneous spelling, usage, and capitalization mistakes. Names of places and people are ALWAYS capitalized- it's "Garry Shandling" (I'm sure he'd appreciate you spelling his name right if you're using it) and Los Vegas. Furthermore, it's not "me and...tried", it's "...and I tried". there are too many more errors to mention!

Also, you write about the Atari "5600" and "5800" in the same paragraph under a photo of the 5200. WHAT SYSTEM ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Are you referring to some unreleased console, or poking fun at some fantasy system you invented? I was left quite confused....

I hope in the future (if the rest of the site's family deems you worthy of having one) you pay more attention to detail as part of the finest existing Atari sites out there. Whether your claim to Atari knowledge is true or not, I'm not convinced.

Rj - I dont need to take this from you! I am a CELEBRITY and I know ALL there is to know about the Atari. Why cant you see that? All these people they talk like I dont know what I talk about when i do! And then they talk about the playstation 2, and the ex-box and all those things and then talk to me like they think i dont know about atari when I know everything there is. And its just a big lie. What you need to realize is that JOE'S the CAPTAIN... not YOU. Ill bet you drive a wussy car like a toyota or an hona.

And whats this junk-talk about atari7800 being a better site than mine? And proffsional? I have the best atari website ever and 7800.com is using MY GOOD NAME to get places! And so what you saying about the 5800 is that you think its a prototype and dont like it? i dont get what you mean. Everybody knows the 5600 was the game that nobody liked from atari. You know that darn well and so does fantastic sam and slippery pete wrigley and Unc.

Your say your a "ataro fan & gamer since 1984" well fine thats nice but ive been captian since 1979 and thats more than you can say hot shot. Maybe you should just shut your mouth before I nock you against the wall like I do Eddie Heywood and all them guys. Listen I dont need you or what you say. Hey whats up? I love your new site, as you would put it, "it looks slick!" lol. Anyways I think its really cool what you and the super gang are doing. Looks tight. Anyways, Im having this problem with my 2600. I have the newer model, the 2600 jr. and the little prongs broke off the cartridge bay and now I cant put 2600 carts in right because the protector wont open up.

Any suggestions?

Dan - Well in 1986, '87 till 1992 you had your 2600 Junior. The motherboard was done by Warner in 1982, 83 and is a good board. But Tramiel did the shell and even tho Warner designed it, Tramiel built it and it was flimsy and pathetic. So the bits break off alot because of Sam and Jack Tramiel. If the prongs broke well then they are broke.The 7800.com guys have new 2600 shells but they dont know what to do with them and they are all piled up on my desk in the mail room and I dont think I should send any out so I say the best thing you could do is go buy a 5200 or something cause the graphics are better and you would like the graphics more beacsue its just that good. You laugh at the accidents in like the 2600 beacuse they are so fake but in the 5200 it looks so real.

Hello. I just wanted to send good remarks about this amazing new website of yours. Boy gee golly it sure is neat! I love playing Atari but I dont know nearly as much as you do about Atari so I love to come to your webpage to learn more! And now that u got the new page, there is lots more to learn. I like coming to your page the best because the other Atari websites just arent as good as yours and the people who own them and run them are not world-class celebrities like you are for being famous for knowing all there is to know about Atari. PLUS you are the captian of the Atari Super-Gang. How neat is that?

Nips - Thanks for the letter. Its nice to see that some people get how famous I am for knowing about Atari. I also have the best website anyone has ever made for Ataris and I like to see it help people. The best part of the website is my movie section because I star in so many world-class movies.

Listen, Im going to be frank. I dont know if this is some kind of joke and you are not a real person or if you suffer from some form of dimentia and you think you are famous or what-have-you, ...but this just boggles my mind. I mean you are just some sort of absurd joke. I have read thru your webpage, and I have kept up with most of your postings on the Atari news groups, and I haven't read anything to make me see you as any kind of authority on Atari. All you do is talk about yourself and your uncles and your friends Slippery Pete and this Fantastic Sam guy who looks like some sort of biker from the 70s. There is little Atari content on this page. You cant even get the 5200 right you always call it the 5600 or something. Its amazing. To be honest with you, I do think you have a nicely done webpage, but thats probably due to the ladies and gentlemen running Atari 7800.com. I am 32 years old, Ive been addicted to Atari since 1980, and now I play 2600 with my husband and son, just as I did with my parents when I was 12. I have spent the past 20 years playing Atari, and I do NOT claim to "know everything there is to know about Atari" but I can say that I know enough about Atari to know that you have NO idea of what you are talking about. I dont get why you think you are famous or a celebrity or whatever, maybe you did something else that I never heard about like save baby Jessica from that well or something, but there is no way you are famous for Atari. You are a joke sir.

I think your wrong, I think I do know what Im talking about. I know all about Atari. I know things that you dont know and never will know. I AM a star. Im the celebrity, not you.
